I stand in a semi-conscious space,
where thoughts swim round
and i am waiting just to catch one.

I'm so consumed by all that i think to be real
but I'm getting nowhere.
and i need you to be

Right here, right now
i need you somehow
to take whatever it is away
so i can believe
that you're right along side of me.

i stand in an unfamiliar place
i guess I've gone as far as i can on my own.

so can you walk with me and know how i feel
well I'll listen to you
so tell me what you see

Right here, right now
i need you somehow
to take whatever it is away
so i can believe
that you're right along side of me.

I'll be standing right along side of you
I'll be standing right along side of you

Right here, right now
i need you somehow
to take whatever it is away
so i can believe
that you're right along side of me.

i define you.
And that's all you need to hear.

My InterpretationThis song feels somewhat like what I've been going through the last few weeks - having so many thoughts running through your head, confused by each and every new one, and just surrendering all of that to the only one that can bring you through any of it. :) And knowing that, with them, it will all be alright.
