To wear the nights all away
Darker hidden secrets that rest in her
I’ve seen it all now
To have her gloat around this scene
Stare through the faces of deceit
She cheats the ones who stand around
I see it all now
I see it all now

Cause I'm sick and I'm getting tired
Of their bickering down my ears
They’re drowning me with their thoughts
Sometimes I feel like I'm getting old
When you spit in my face
You’re wearing yourself out as well as me
All you want is more
All you want is more
All you want is more
Sympathy!
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
Until the day that I
See you there
See you there

I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy

Played off the ups
And downs
And from the moments from my past
She cheats the ones who stand around
I see it all now
I see it all now

Cause I'm sick and I'm getting tired
Of their bickering down my ears
They’re drowning me with their thoughts
Sometimes I feel like I'm getting old
When you spit in my face
You’re wearing yourself out as well as me
All you want is more
All you want is more
All you want is more
Sympathy!
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
I'll give you sympathy
Until the day that I
See you there
See you there

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
