"Last of Days" as written by and Alison Loren Sudol....
Something causing fear to fly
Rising like a dark night
In silence
Traveling like a broken boat
Heading for the sky
And I'm an island

I watched you disappear into the clouds
Swept away into another town

The world carries on without you
But nothing remains the same
I'll be lost without you
Until the last of days

The sun is in the east,
Rising for the beasts
And the beauties
I wish that I could tear it down,
Plant it in the ground to warm your face

I built myself a castle on the beach
Watching as it slid into the sea

The world carries on without you
But nothing remains the same
I'll be lost without you
Until the last of days
Until the last of days

Through walls and harvest moons
I will fight for you

The world carries on without you
But nothing remains the same
I'll be lost without you
Until the last of days
Until the last of days

    General Commentcorrect lyrics from "afinefrenzy.com":

    something’s causing feet to fly,
    rising like a dark knight
    in silence
    traffic’s slow with broken boats
    heading for the sea
    and I’m an island

I watched you disappear into the clouds
    swept away into another town

the world carries on without you
    but nothing remains the same
    I’ll be lost without you
    until the last of days

the sun is in the east,
    rising for the beasts
    and the beauties
if only I could tear it down,
plant it in the ground to warm your face

I built myself a castle on the beach
watching as it slid into the sea

the world carries on without you
    but nothing remains the same
    I’ll be lost without you
    until the last of days
    until the last of days

    through wars and harvest moons
    I will wait for you.
the world carries on without you
    but nothing remains the same
    I’ll be lost without you
    until the last of days
    until the last of days

General CommentGah, stupid people. Not every song is about Jesus. I hate it when people try to relate everything to God and the bible and all that.
    Gah!
It's obviously about a guy who she loved went away and everyone forget about him, but she misses him like hell.
    I can relate to THAT.

General CommentAgain, I see undertones of the Christ story. Jesus died and rose to heaven on a cloud, leaving the world to go on without His physical presence. And we wait until the last days for Him to return again.

General CommentThis song is so sad. I think it is about someone close to her dying.
"I wish that I could tear it down,
Plant it in the ground to warm your face"
She wants to plant the sun in the ground to warm his cold face in death.
    It's beautiful.

General Commentif you can relate to that theory then thats fine.
but what right do you have to say that its only about a boy and that anyone who tries to link it to their faith is 'stupid' ?
i am not religious myself but i would much rather think that this song is about faith than another song about a guy.

General CommentThis song reminds me of a friend that recently died. I'm pretty sure that it's also about somebody close to her that died, as opposed to something religious such as Jesus. True believers in Jesus wouldn't feel "lost without you until the last of days" as they believe that Christ is with them at every step.
