You will remember this moment as you dig into me
And from your smile now it seems as if you liked it
You'd better cherish this moment as you dig into me
You'll never get another chance at this

I won't stand another minute of your questioning me
You hear me, bitch, stop the interrogation is over
I can't handle the feeling of your pestering me
How would you like to make my favorite fist

No, you can't renege
I love to see you beg

Dream this moment as you run away
You will only separate me from all I believe
This moment in brutality
You're the one who kept on pushing 'til I made you bleed

It seems your pride has been stolen since you stood up to me
I'll tell you now you know I think I really like it
So, learn a lesson from someone
Who will never repeat the many tragic mistakes of his past

I hope you savor this moment as you're still on your feet
So keep it quiet now, I think you're gonna like it
Words have their consequences when they're spoken to me
Better be careful when you're writing checks

Don't you question how
I stand above you now

Dream this moment as you run away
You will only separate me from all I believe
In this moment in Brutality,
You're the one who kept on pushing 'til I made you bleed

Now, you know the answer, save yourself from danger
I cannot forget how all of this began
I know you know the answers, save yourself from danger
Beaten by a stranger, blood still on his hands and

Dream this moment as you run away
You will only separate me from all I believe
This moment in Brutality
You're the one who kept on pushing 'til I made you bleed

This song really kicks ass. I'm surprised there's no comments on it yet.

This song fucking rocks, hard, i first heard it during the credits for transformers, another thing that fucking rocks hard, i mean, hell yea, 12/10. Me, being an avid disturbed fan, went searching for it right away....he he he

this song is amazing. i heard it on the transformers soundtrack. im guessing it will be on disturbed's new cd. sounds like a good follow-up to ten thousand fists.

anyway, to the meaning... i think its about someone who has taken crap from people all his life and is starting to regret it until he finally stands up and tries to fight back.

finally found lyrics for this, i wrote em down saturday night but couldn't figure out what was rhyming with 'beg'. Anyway, i see a few changes you could make and it'd be perfect....

'to make my favorite list' should be 'to meet my favorite fist'

'You will only separate me from, All I believe this moment, It will tell the way' ..should be.. 'You would only seperate me from what i believe, this moment in brutality'

'Words have consequences when' should add a 'thier' between have and consequences

like i said great job, those are the corrections i see :)

    btw this song fuckin rocks

im adding on to raphaels corrections, i think that instead of "dream this moment" its "deem this moment" if you wanna see my version its pretty much called "this moment(correct version)"

It's about a relationship in which, in fact, the girl was completely at fault. It seems like she was always doing something (cheating, lying, etc) that eventually broke apart the relationship and now she has to suffer the consequences.

The line, "your the one who kept on pushing 'till i made you bleed" pretty much sums up the song. She kept doing something and now she's suffering.

Bleeding shouldn't be taken literally as this would imply abuse which I wouldn't put past Disturbed but its most likely just a metaphor for the emotion/mental abuse they both suffered.

    Many of the lines support this interpretation;

    AWESOME SONG!!

I think this song is about getting pushed around and telling the person they better enjoy it while it lasts because once they push you to the end of your restraint your going to push back, and push harder, stripping them of their pride. The end seems to be offering the beaten party an opportunity to back down before they get realy screwed up.

i kinda agree with rowkem but think it is physical violence when it says "how would you like to met my favorite fist" hes warning her to be careful or he will hit her. and "till i made you bleed" he has hit her now she is regretting it and bleed obviously

This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
