    I may be wrong but I don't think he's singing "...until heaven's gate". This would not make sense. It's a song about runes, nothing to do with Christianity.

    I think he's singing "...until Hel's gate" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hel_(being) ). Unfortunately in the video you don't see his lips to this so you can't tell from reading them.

    Does anyone have references to further information on "Birger Tidesson" as Gareth Beaumain posted?
