When the light shows
Through your window
I can see you there
In the mirror

Touching blond hair
That’s a river
Of translucent
Liquid life

Are you singing child
I can hear you here
Just by watching
Lips reflecting
Just by watching
Small breasts rising

With the rhythm of your breathing
Im not here now
But I see you there
With your blue veins
Softly tapping skin

With the rhythm of your breathing
With the rythem of my thinking
Are you sleeping now?
I could touch your silver hair
While your sleeping child
You can’t feel me here

These orange eyes of an animal (?)

General CommentThe lyrics at the end of the song are:

    Caroline rise
    On the moonlight wire
    Caroline rise
And drink the drug from the crystal vial
    Caroline rise
    On the moonlight wire
    These are the eyes
    Of an animal

The last two lines are repeated as the song fades out.

"Kosinski" is a sort of tribute to the writing of Jerzy Kosinski, whose prose Michael Gira is quite fond of. The song itself is from the point of view of a voyeur watching a girl comb her hair, absorbing each movement, longing to touch the image before him...
