Recovering from the fear.
Skip a line from the page.
March in time with my feet on tight.

Stepping up, blurry eyed.

Recovering from the fear.
With a blast of the sun.
March in time with my feet untied.

Stepping up, blurry eyed.

And it's not a mistake.
I'd spend it with you.

When the crash in my world was brought back so soon.

Stepping up, blurry eyed.

General CommentHis heart was broken by a girl, so he is blurry eyed, or his eyes are blurry from tears. he marches in time to the rythm of life to keep from breaking down. He might me afraid to tell her he still loves her, then he "recovers from the fear" and "steps up" and tells her, "It's (the relationship) not a mistake. I'd spend it (my life) with you." but she rejects him a second time, hence the crash being brought back so soon. Yet he presses on.
It's kind of a tragic story, but that's what I got from it. Beautiful song.
