You put your fist in the ground
You went from quiet to loud
You found you're broken in half, today
You set a fire to forget
To burn up all your regret
But really, nothing has changed, today
You can't go on this way
You can't move on

Erase and start it again
Accidents happen
But these cuts don't scar
Erase and start it again
Mistake dig in
And you've gone too far

You find you're living in fear
You've been dying for years
You hit the end of the road, today
Condemned but couldn't understand
You tried but pride held you back
Your eyes are open again, today
You can't go on this way
You can't move on

General CommentI'm surprised nobody has commented this song yet!!!!

This has got to be my favorite song my Sparta! :D

I feel he's singing to someone that is just realizing they've been messing up their life and that they can't go on this way. But as he says "Erase and start it again"

    I love this song!!!

General CommentErin, this song is absolutely incredible, and I as well cannot believe you were the first to comment :P one of the top three on the album for sure, the chorus always gets me amped and brings a big smile to my face. His voice over the last albums has just improved and improved, and now sounds as i would imagine an angel to sound. Keep it up Sparta

General Commentyea, basically about realizing you have to pull yourself together-but more importantly, you have to forgive yourself in order to move on. Some of Sparta's lyrics can be really inspirational, and I agree, Jim's vocals sound great on this song.
