General Commentit isn't about anything you people have mentioned earlier!!! And to say it is just about marijuana isn't right either.
All this song is, is a story about a pot smoking caravan of stoners in biblical times. i am positive about this too.
i love the song, even though i dont do drugs. i have nothing against pot smokers, but seriously the song isn't this metaphorical. Use your brain.

General CommentPretty much a one hour anthem about marijuana and it's effects, including how it brings a peaceful feeling of slowness and then a easy sleep and wakeup in the end unlike alcohol. Also it seems like the band is comparing smoking pot to some sort of religious experienc.
