I'm turning, twisting in my bed just laying down
You're hands all over me, she whispers softly "let's move it to the ground"
Take it down like a pill and let it digest
And feel the change in the pit of my chest
When you wake up undressed
I'm messed up, and choked up
Just another time that you fucked up

Your eyes got a hold on me
And they've got me sinking in cement
Don't panic, breathe
When you're walking out on me

Been spending these last years just waiting around
Not gonna sit here and watch what we both believed in pass me by
Take it down like a pill and let it digest
And feel the change in the pit of your chest
When I woke up you left
I'm messed up, and choked up
Just another time that you fucked up

Your eyes got a hold on me
And they've got me sinking in cement
Don't panic, breathe
When you're walking out on me
Your eyes got a hold on me
And they've got me sinking in cement
Don't panic, breathe
When you're walking out on me

Keep it comin' or I'm gonna let you down
Keep it comin' don't you bother to come back now
Keep it comin' cause I'm gonna let you down
Just don't talk
Just don't talk
Keep it comin', this is done when I leave town
Keep it comin', you know I'll go one more round
Keep it comin', cause I'm gonna let you down
Just don't talk
Just listen
Turn on the TV to find out what you're missing

Your eyes got a hold on me
And they've got me sinking in cement
Don't panic, breathe
When you're walking out on me
Your eyes got a hold on me
And they've got me sinking in cement
Don't panic, breathe
When you're walking out on me

Keep it comin' or I'm gonna let you down
Keep it comin' don't you bother to come back now
Keep it comin' cause I'm gonna let you down
Just don't talk
Just don't talk
Keep it comin', this is done when I leave town
Keep it comin', you know I'll go one more round
Keep it comin', cause I'm gonna let you down
Just don't talk
Just listen
Turn on the TV to find out what you're missing

Is this maybe a song about a girl taking advantage of a boy? I dont really know. the piano at the beginning kinda has a creepy sound to it. This song reinds me a bit of Panic! at the Disco but I like it, more people should comment on it!

i will!!! just because this is a good song and i have no life comment comment comment

this song's about sex. the guy dosnt really want to do what they are doing but she's got him hooked-the stuck in cement thing- so he's screwed (no pun intended) i'm thinking they are one of those couples who break up constantly but have sex a lot so they think its all good. well she does anyway. he just takes it "like a pill" cause he's a guy and there's no way he's going to say no to that. he will just not like it because of the circumstances. yay regret but he wishes she would get it and listen to him and realize how this is making him feel. that whore...

thats just what i think anyway

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
