Where does an animal sleep when the ground is wet?
Cows in the ballroom, chickens in the farmer's corvette.

Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Gets depressed!

How does an animal see once the sun has set?
Bandits in the capital, limited civilian unrest.

Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Gets depressed!

What kind of animal needs to smoke a cigarette?
Grass in the pasture is sharper than a bayonet.

Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Gets depressed!

"Happiness won't leave me alone!" Sings the bird in his nest.
"Get a load of this fucking view, it's the best in the west!"

Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Sometimes a pony
Gets depressed!

As a member of PETA, I am highly offended by any reference to depression concerning any animal, especially Ponys! I had a pony once, his name was Wilbur bc i read that book about Charlotte and that web which made me join PETA as an 8 year old but i couldnt write so my mom had to join me up but she likes meat and lied and never signed me up but i have been a member no matter what she did to screw up my childhood with her meat and leather shoes and uncaring heart and cheating ways but anyway, the pony was totally cool and my mom with all her meat eating decided to sell wilbur, the pony and to the circus freaks when they came in the spring and they rode him around when they needed rides and i never saw him again. this song makes me think of how depressed wilbur was when he had to leave me and join the circus and the meat eating freaks that work there. im in therapy now and dont like this song. Wilbur? come back

david berman's heartfelt wailing laid on top of an extremely upbeat music... it's such a sore and beautiful song.

There was a time in my life when I saw all the support and encouragement in religion. But there came a time when faith alone could not help me. Then I turned to drmental.org/online-christian-counseling for religious help. At that time online christian counseling was pulling me out of such a hole. Every week I corresponded with my therapist, who explained to me all the instructions of God and then I felt calm. I became aware of all my behavior and realized that I was the way to live my life. Thanks to this platform I found enlightenment.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Head > Heels
Ed Sheeran
“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.
