This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight
Singing Amen, I'm alive (I'm alive)
Singing Amen, I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
And I'm singing
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive
And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive (I'm alive)
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
Then we'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
Then we'd see the day, we'd see the day
When nobody died
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
Confusing stars for satellites

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
Plastic Bag

Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.
“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
I have to agree with NickelbackFan (1st commenter). But I never really thought of it as a politcal song at first. But when I think about it, it kinda is. In the begining of the song, he praises his girl, which is confusing, assuming this song is still about politicts. When he goes on to say "Amen I, I'm Alive", I get the feeling that for some reason he should be dead now? That it's only a miracle that of all the people dying in the world, he isn't "it" yet. I'm not sure what he meant by the fireflies analogy. Maybe the "They're only light" part meant that, again, he and her are only one (or I guess you could say two)? My favorite part is his analogy with the stars:
And as we lie beneath the stars We realize how small we are If they could love like you and me Imagine what the world could be
He's saying that him and his girl love each other so much, and that if everyone were that way, it would be a pretty d*** close utopia.
You notice how he says "If" a lot? He's acknowledging that it would be impossible, and that utopia is only a dream (an impossible one at that). In the end, I actually disagree with what he says ("We’d see the day, we’d see the day When nobody died"). Remember when God made the world, and man, and it was good? Well, didn't man choose to sin? So, even If everyone cared and nobody cried If everyone loved and nobody lied If everyone shared and swallowed their pride , I think there would still be the sin to hold us back.
That's only my interpretation. If you think otherwise, feel free to correct me. I'm always open for criticism. :-)
I was reading your comment and just had to reply back to you.
I agree 100% with you on how you actually disagree with him at the end of the song when he says "we’d see the day When nobody died". I LOVE YOUR ANSWER on what you said about God. That was just awesome! AND anyways Chad is saying that they would see the say when no body died if everyone was just perfect BUT people are going to die anyways because of the sin that man commited at the beginning of time. your comment was great!
Take care.
First off, I want to tell you straight out I respect that you're open to criticism, cuz most ppl aren't. But my hypothesis is he doesn't mean ppl will not die, just that the unneccesary and tragic deaths could end. It means ppl could live out happy lives and die in their sleep instead of a butt of a rifle to the head to save bullets, they wouldn't die standing in the middle of a square getting run over by tanks. Or last but certainly not least, shot b/c you simply wanted to drink from the same fountain as a white person, who wanted the same dignities as a white person. Essentially I feel it means no one would die due to religion, race, creed, sexual orientation, or just the freedom to scratch your butt in public if you so choose. And you know what, I think that kind of world would fit the song, ergo Chad got it right. If we could truly love, now that's a world that I would love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace and Love to ALL
