I've never return to love somebody
Now all that I need is all I see in you
And only you
And if you get lost I'll always find you
You're all that I need your heart will keep you true
My only you

You make me fall and I can't sleep
You want it all but it's too deep
And I can't give it away
I just can't give it away

When you slowly close your eyes
Replay the moment in your mind
Just give it away
Just give it away

Don't ever forget to tell somebody
The feelings inside
To make your dreams come true
I dream of you

To feel so alive and want somebody
It's not make believe
My world would be for you
And only you

You make me fall and I can't sleep
You want it all but it's too deep
And I can't give it away
I just can't give it away

When you slowly close your eyes
Replay the moment in your mind
Just give it away
Just give it away

When you slowly close your eyes
Replay the moment in your mind
Just give it away
Just give it away

(I'm giving it away)
(Giving it away, giving it way)
(Giving it away)

chorus should read "replay the moment in your life"

I'm not very good at figuring out the meanings of songs, which is how i found this site, but here's my first entry:

I think this song is referring to one who has lost/left a loved one ("I never return to love somebody"). He wants to return to this person, yet is having doubts whether or not to go through with it ("Now all that I need is all I see in you And only you"). Nevertheless, whatever the person does, he does not want to be forgotten ("when you slowly close your eyes/replay the moment in your life/breathe in and give it away"; "Don't ever forget to tell somebody/The feelings inside to make your dreams come true"), what the relationship was like.

Great song, makes an awesome ringtone too!

I think its similar to Royksopp "Only this moment", He suddenly fell for someone he didnt intend to fall for. ("I never return to love somebody") And now he needs her to fall for him too,("You make me fall and I can't sleep") but commitment like that is not what she seems to be looking for yet,("You want it all but it's too deep")
but he cant seem to let her go("Just Cant Give It Away") I also agree that it should be "replay the moment..." Beautiful!

    Song Meaning

This guy is falling for someone, but that someone wants too much of him (you want it all but it's all too deep). He loved how the relationship was, but he doesn't want give anymore or get as deep as the other, yet he doesn't want to leave. He feels there is no other option than to replay the sweet momeries in his mind. But he doesn't want anybody else but this person... (Just give it away) - the no option but to break up and leave, but if he leaves he will never return. My world would be for you - he wanted to love this person. Complications of the world of relationships. It's never clear cut. I love this song - it's so bitter sweet and they are playing it on Energy 98 :)))

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Blink-182
