Looking back at the beginning of this
And how life was
Just you and me and love and all of our friends
Living life like an ocean
But now the currents slowly pulling me down
It's getting harder to breath
It won't be too long and I'll be going under
Can you save me from this

'Cause it's not my time,
I'm not going
There's a fear in me
It's not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, I won't go

I look ahead to all the plans that we made
And the dreams that we had
I'm in a world that tries to take 'em away
Oh, but I'm taking 'em back
All this time I've just been to blind to understand
What should matter to me
My friend, this life we live
Is not what we have, it's what we believe

It's not my time
I'm not going
There's a fear in me
It's not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
But, it's not my time
I'm not going
There's a wield in me
Now I know that
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, but I won't go

I won't go

There might be more than you believe
(There might be more than you believe)
There might be something you can see

It's not my time
I'm not going
There's a fear in me
It's not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
But, it's not my time
I'm not going
There's a wield in me
Now I know that
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, but I won't go

There might be more than you believe
(There might be more than you believe)
There might be more than you can see

I won't go!
No I won't go down!
Yeah.

There are some minor errors in this, including the omission of a line or two. Not trying to knock the person or anything like that. Anyway, I think it's about someone finally summoning up enough courage to say enough is enough and confront the person that has been tormenting them for years. I think this CD in general has been a great leap lyrically at least for 3DD. I'm not saying that the other CD's are bad, far from it actually. If you don't have the CD yet, it is well worth the buy.

    Try these out:

Nevermind the face that you put on In front of me And nevermind the pain You've put me ..through

Cause every little thing you say And every little thing you do It makes me doubt all of this

    What are you waiting for?

[Chorus:] Look what you did Is this who you wanted me to be? Well it's not me

Look what you did Is this how you wanted it to be? This life you gave away Was meant for me

Forget the trip that you've been on Or so it seems Nevermind the lies that you told, my tears

Cause every little thing you said And every little thing you did You made me doubt all of this

Is that what your waiting for?

[Chorus:] Look what you did Is this who you wanted me to be? Well it's not me

Look what you did Is this how you wanted it to be? This life you gave away Was meant for me Was meant for me Was meant for me Yeah, Yeahhhhhh

Look what you did Is this who you wanted me to be? Well it's not me

Look what you did Is this how you wanted it to be? This life you gave away Was meant for me

    Yeahhhhhh

Oh was meant for me, yeah hey yeah hey

    Oh No Oh

Man, break-ups can sure suck!!! =(

I think this song is about a guy who gets broken up with, and wants the girl to be happy, so he doesn't show her that he's hurting inside, but he ends up hurting so much that he just can't hide it anymore. And these lines were missing at the very end, which I think is the best part of the song:

I don't know how I can face this pain I'll keep it inside so you can't see I don't think I can go on this way, 'cause it's not me

It's about a guy who is being changed into someone he's not. Someone is trying to change him but he doesn't want to change because it's not who he is.

agree with xx 3DD Fan. you love this person and almost give up your own identity for her, but then you come to realize that this isn't who you are and you don't want to be changed into somebody else. yet you are afraid of giving up the relationship althou you fear it's coming to an end.

that was my first favorite song from seventeen days. (until i got to love all of them equally)

i think its about a break up where the guy is so hurt that its changing who he is and hes trying to fight it cuz its not who he is

and i think hes kinda blaming the girl for it because shes the one who hurt him...and shes the one changing him

at least thats what i think

I think this song is pretty much related to his near death experience in his car accident with his wife.

To me this song is about two people that had a relationship (Doesn't have to be romantic) And the other person was changing giving up a life, trying to make the other one change themselves. The only reason I think this is because I found it at the exact moment when my best friend walked out of my life.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
