a collet call from your son
he's got some problems with me, and you
i showed him what life is
he seemed disappointed
expecting more i guess

he hides under cover
doesn't play much with others
i think he's spoiled or dumb

he's seen the real world
and now he's real bored
lets set him up, then go
it gets so easy
being slow and pissy to everyone that cares

bottled water and credit cards
smooth skin women and shiny cars
prescription drugs that we all love
sweet things that dreams are made of
...yeah right

whats the point?
it's all been done
we all sound just like someone
whose done it before
whose done it right
i wonder why we even try

don't get me wrong
i don't think its wrong
the only thing wrong is this song

My OpinionSomething about this song is just so incredibly satisfying. I don't know if it's the way the song continues to build and build, or Jon's quiet "(one, two, three, four)" but it's just so sad and so relaxing all at the same time.

    I love how it ends.
