How do you do all the things
I'll never do to you?
I'll know why you do the things
I'll never do

Sorry 'bout the fire
Sorry 'bout the torch
Sorry I had to have my revenge
Send it in a note
Said you cannot go
Say you were sick, you cant get dressed

Color me on fire
Color me a liar
My dress is the prettiest
Cover me in burns
Everyone take a turn
Color me humiliated

My oh my baby you do reflect the sun
And my oh my baby you were almost golden
My oh my oh how you do reflect the sun
My oh my baby you were almost golden

Sorry 'bout the fire
Sorry 'bout the torch
Sorry i had to have my revenge
Send it in a note
Say you cannot come
Say you are still tied to the bed

When's he gonna come
When's he gonna spring
When's he gonna claw up in for blow
When's he gonna come
screaming bombs away
When's he gonna kill me in this room

My oh my he's in his glory yeah
Watch him tearing me down with such a vengeance
Hold on to me
Yeah baby hold, hold on tight
Yeah we'll just see which one of us gets out alive

Oh Honey how do you do all the things I'll never do to you?

Cover me in fire
Cover me in lies
That's just your entertainment
Sorry I'm obsessed
Walk a block behind
I was stuck and you stormed in a daze

My oh my baby you do reflect the sun
And my oh my baby you were almost golden
My oh my oh how you do reflect the sun
My oh my baby you were almost golden

    my favourite :)

and yeah i think some of the lyrics are wrong

isnt this "My dress is the prettiest" "murderess is the prettiest"? i think thats such a powerful lyric, so like bitter i cant explain like saying she's got away with doing what they think she did, but she knows she didnt actually do it, and is saying they are all surprised she is the 'best', or prettiest, although they think its like a cover for how 'evil' she is inside, and it is just so incredibly, for want of a better word, emotional!

or, it could be nothing to do with that.

sooo before i say this i just want everyone to know that i DO NOT believe that courtney killed kurt, but i can see how lyrics in this song are really ironic towards that conspiracy theory

Sorry 'bout the fire Sorry 'bout the torch Sorry i had to have my revenge (conspiracy theory says that the time before kurts death was a rough patch for their marraige, and that they were in the middle of geting a divorce, but courtney really didnt want one so her "revenge" was to kill him) Send it in a note ( kurt sent courtney a note a week or so before he died and said he was leaving her and frances) Suid you cannot go (she said you can't leave me and yoru baby, and i wont let you leave) Say you were sick, you cant get dressed (i dont know for sure about this one but i think this has to do with kurts addiction) Come on be on fire Come on be a liar My dress is the prettiest (sounds like murderess is the prettiest, which might be a play on words, her reffering to the fact that shes a murderer and she got away with it) Cover me in burns (about all the people who accused her of murder) Everyone take a turn (agian, about people criticizing her) I'm already humiliated (she already feels self guilt, people giving her shit doesnt make a difference)

My oh my he's in his gloriousness (saying that kurts in his glory, he wanted to be dead) Watch him tear me down with such a vengeance (wherever he is, he is enjoying the fact that she is suffering) Hold on to me Yeah baby hold hold on tight (refers to how even though she hates him she still loves him and misses him refer to song hold on to me) Yeah well just see which one of us gets out alive (sarcastic, saying your dead, you lost this battle, fuck you)

agian i dont believe courtney killed kurt at all. i love both nirvana and hole and i love kurt and courtney, they are both fucking awesome

and btw, i think these lyrics are a little messed up

i also think it's meant sarcastica bout the fact that people think she killed kurt:

it think the first lines - "sorry 'bout the things I'll never do to you" - in my eyes she says sarcastic like: "sorry for something i would never do, and in your eyes i did it, somehow i know i would never do it." i know i can't explain it that good, but that's what i think about it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
