"Little Willow" as written by and Paul Mccartney....
Bend, little willow
Wind's gonna blow you
Hard and cold tonight

Life, as it happens
Nobody warns you
Willow, hold on tight

Nothing's gonna shake your love
Take your love away
No one's out to break your heart
It only seems that way... hey

Sleep, little willow
Peace gonna follow
Time will heal your wounds

Grow to the heavens
Now and forever
Always came too soon

Little willow

Nothing's gonna shake your love
Take your love away
No one's out to break your heart
It only seems that way... hey

Bend, little willow
Wind's gonna blow you
Hard and cold tonight

Life, as it happens
Nobody warns you
Willow, hold on tight

Ah, little willow
Little willow

General CommentI Love this song so much, It's one of my favorite Paul songs. I herd in an interview, one of his friends died and so he wrote the song for her children.

General CommentThis song is from Flaming Pie which is one of my favorite McCartney albums, but I hadn't paid attention until I saw the video. At first I thought it was about Linda's death, being about a mother dying, and the song a consolation for the children. But turns out it is not. It's for another beatle's wife. Maureen Starkey, Ringo's ex-wife, which died of leukemia. Great song.
