I'm sorry lesprophetitos, I did not mean to anger you. Your big words and musical knowledge is too great for me. And by the way, Finch considered themselves a Deftones rip-off band before their guitarist Randy joined the band. So much for your Thursday reference. And sweet is another way of saying cool, neat, radical, tubular, gnarley, great, good, I could go on for hours with words that meand the same as sweet. I am very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very sorry that you did not understand what I meant by sweet. Please, for the love of God, forgive my mistake and give me another chance. Also, since you seem to be a musical expert, could you tell me all that you know about music so I don't piss anyone else off? I would hate to have someone else rip apart everything that I wrote. I cried myself to sleep after I read what you wrote. All I ever wanted was to be your friend. Please take me back, I will do anything for your love. I can't take this hate anymore, I want to get back to loving. Love me, Lesprophetitos, love me.

In this song Max sings "Soul fly!" and that's where he got the name for the band. Oh and it's Max's step-son that died in a car crash. He was called Dana Wells. The album "Around The Fur" is dedicated to him
this song is a serious ass-kicker....and i would call it pretty sweet...cause if someone wrote a song as good as this one for me when i died i would say that's pretty sweet!
It's really sad but uplifting as well. Dana deserved a tribute and he got one. It's fucking brilliant.
hey rickboge do your homework, max was in sepultura wayyy b4 soulfly ever came into the picture. he started soulfly after he left sepultura.
Lmfao rickboge, Max Cavelera not only founded Soulfly but also Sepeltura, way back in the 80's. They where one of the first modern metal bands, back when Metallica and Pantera where not well known.
And ya, Max makes this song good, one of the only good Deftones songs. Kinda like Maynard James Keenan does with "Passenger" I'm no big fan of Deftones, but this song rocks.
Max beleives his step son Dana was murdered, but I don't think it's been proven one way or another. Either way, it's a tribute to him.
Hahaha they consider this song, "Engine Number 9" part 2.
Only because of the raw energy and how Chino just flows.
Yes, Dana Wells was the stepson of Max Cavalera and also Chino Morenos best friend. Dana didnt get murdered like... gunshot or something, he got hit by a car, the car was driven by a drunken driver. This song is dedicated to Dana and First Commandment is dedicated to the one who drove the car. Max started Soulfly, well, he got the name Soulfly from this song. "soulfly. fly high. soulfly. fly free"
Hope I'll get to see this live, would kill everything :P.
and rickboge...let me laugh :P you got one thing right though, deftones is alternative-metal.
