I don't know what he does to make you cry
But I'll be there to make you smile
I don't have a fancy car
To get to you I'd walk a thousand miles
I don't care if he buys you nice things
Does his gifts come from the heart, I don't know
But if you were my girl
I'd make it so we'd never be apart

But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give

When you talk, does it seem like he's not
Even listening to a word you say?
That's okay babe, just tell me your problems
I'll try my best to kiss them all away
Does he leave when you need him the most?
Does his friends get all your time?
Baby please, I'm on my knees
Praying for the day that you'll be mine!

But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give

To you, hey girl
Hey girl, I don't want you to cry no more inside
All the money in the world
Could never add up to all the love I have inside
I Love You

And I will give it to you
All I can give, all I can give
Everything I have is for you
My love is all I have to give

My love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give

But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give, to you

I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
Give the world to you
But love is all I have to give

But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give, to you

Backstreet Boys songs bring back memories. They were a lot better than N'Sync in my opinion. I'm 25 and I love the Backstreet Boys, and I think if more MEN followed some of their lyrics we would have a lot more MEN and a lot less LITTLE BOYS.

I would give a lot to have a man love me like this. Almost every song they have is about how they can love this girl better than the last guy and how he will romance her and all this other stuff, and I'm sorry but it takes a REAL MAN to love a woman like they sing about. So suck it up haters, you only hate the BSB because your women love them more than you! ha ha ha.

Wow...some people need to get lifes real bad,get of their asses and stop waisting time on stuff they don't like..... Go post about how much you love a song and not about how much it sucks and how the band should die, these ppl don't need a wake-up call or anything, they didn't ask for it so don't give it to them with insults, you all need to get over this! I listen to Nirvana,LP, Bon Jovi and the Goo Goo Dolls but yet I still like the BSB,so what?! Sure about half of the songs or so on their albums are not written by them, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have meaning- it has meaning to the ppl that wrote it and you can find meaning in a lot of it too if you give it a chance and listen to it! Sure it isn't something that gives meaning to life and uses clever metaphores like Goo Goo Dolls and Rammstein songs do,but it doesn't have to! And just so you guys know-they do play instruments,Kevin plays the Piano, A.J the guitar,Brian also the Guitar, Nick drums and Guitar, and Howie Guitar and something else but I can't think of what it is at the moment.

WHAT IN THE WORLD is a group around for all of like, 3 years doing releasing a "greatest hits" album..first, theyre horrible, second, you actually need to be around for a while to release greatest hits...they put out the same meaningless garbage on every album...bsb is the worst thing ive ever heard

I just have to say that the Backstreet Boys have been putting albums out since 1995. Since when was that 3 years ago? It's 2002, GeekRocker86, not 1998. Also, the group has been together and recording music since 1993. THAT was 9 years ago. They put out the Greatest Hits Album because they've been around for almost a decade. Oh, and another thing, why are you people here if you don't like the Backstreet Boys? I see three negative comments about them here and I just want to know why you people even come here if you don't like them?

it's easy for the backstreet boys to release a greatest hits album after only a couple of years...because they're are plenty of retarded pre-teens out there who have not had the opportunity to experience real music by people who have talent, not people picked by lou perlman for having pretty faces, and, of yeah, they can sing, too. 12 and 13 year old morons pump their parents hard earned money into the backstreet empire, because mtv and top forty radio play out the songs so much that people have no choice. plus, pre-pubescent girl will buy anything with a cute boy's face on the cover. oh, btw krisco, the reason we come here to post negative comments is because we know they'll always be someone stupid enough to defend what they call "music". don't worry, i'm not talking about YOU though...

alright, i'm just going to ignore what you said for now, spliphstar. I just want to say why can't people just get along on here? Everywhere I go I'm always seeing insults to the band or group that sings the song. Why not ignore who sings the lyrics and just enjoy the music? It's pretty sad when you refuse to listen to music because you don't like the artist.

my dislike for manufactured pop music has nothing to do with my like/dislike for an artist. that comes from the drivel i hear on the radio.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
