I sit around and watch the tube but, nothing's on
I change the channels for an hour or two
Twiddle my thumbs just for a bit
I'm sick of all the same old shit
In a house with unlocked doors
And I'm fucking lazy

Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind!!!
And I smell like shit

Peel me off this Velcro seat and get me moving
I sure as hell can't do it by myself
I'm feeling like a dog in heat
Barred indoors from the summer street
I locked the door to my own cell
And I lost the key

Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind!!!
And I smell like shit

I got no motivation
Where is my motivation
No time for motivation
Smoking my inspiration

I sit around and watch the phone, but no one's calling
Call me pathetic, call me what you will
My mother says to get a job
But she don't like the one she's got
When masturbation's lost its fun
You're fucking lonely

Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind
And loneliness has to suffice
Bite my lip and close my eyes
Slipping away to paradise
Some say, "Quit or I'll go blind"
But it's just a myth

General Comment:This is the song of my generation. Sitting around. Bored. Doing nothing. Basically sums up my life.

General Comment:I don`t see how it could make you hyper. It`s about the opposite. Its about being bored at home and too lazy too even shower. All you do is sit around the house and masturbate

General Comment:its not just about boredom. its about masturbation. what do you think he meant by 'bite my lip and close my eyes, take me away to paradise'? and the last line just gives it away: 'some say quit or ill go blind, but its just a myth'

General Comment:This song is good and funny, even though it seems like it's about some loser who has nothing to do but masturbate. He's to lazy to even shower.

Song Meaning:This song is actually about the lead singers fight with Agrophobia which is the fear of leaving your house. The lyrics are very telling of this and the singer was treated for this mental illness. People that suffer from this disorder dont want to be stuck at the house but feel they have to be. "In a house with unlocked doors" is just one lyric that gives you insight. He also compares his house to a prison and the line about masterbating so much that its not fun shows the length of time he was mentally locked in his house. Read the lyrics carefully and you will see. You can also look up the singer to find out. Who would have known...

General Comment:I've always loved how it's relatively calm, and then once it gets to the chorus it explodes, allowing Billie to vent his frustration over his situation.

General Comment:this song just mellows me out and its kinda depressing. the chorus is probably the best line in punk rock history.
