@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
Fog in the streets
A church clock beats
Midnight, darkness all around
You better beware
You better take care
Be prepared for the shock
The time has come
And he's the one
Who's breathing down your neck
Coming from behind
Now it's your time
A loser will die
Fast as a shark he'll cut out of the dark
He's a killer, he'll rip out your heart
On a one way track and you're not coming back
Cause the killer's on the attack
Surprise attack
Coming from the back
An expert of the deadly knack
Just take care
Just beware
Be prepared for the fight
Fast as a shark he'll cut out of the dark
He's a killer, he'll rip out your heart
On a one way track and you're not coming back
Cause the killer's on the attack
Watch out, watch out
Fast as a shark he'll cut out of the dark
He's a killer, he'll rip out your heart
On a one way track and you're not coming back
Cause the killer's on the attack
Fast as a shark he'll cut out of the dark

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms.
“Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
i love this song! it's about a murderer..I love their voices! why hasn't anyone commented??
Accept rules! Anyway it seems that in the USA are afraid about the power and the evil of the true european metal. There are a lot af posts about the more stupid Metallica songs and very few about band as Accept, Gamma Ray (first 3 albums) and Judas Priest. I read a lot of posts of people worried about the evil, satanic and criminal face of classic heavy metal (its ture face). Hey, americans, be sure that european metallers never prayed jesus!... Ah, ah, ah. Korm2138 - Italy

@korm2138 hey corn, be assured that I believe in God, listened to Accept before Restless and Wild came out an d I will shitfuc ur granny and fisfuc her face. Oh yes and our country dont support techno dance clubs, never have never will. Furthermore it was a European bus driver that killed Cliff Burton and ruined Mesallica forever!

Whatever he said, I agree.
Does anyone know what the meaning of the sample at the beginning is and what does it have to do with the song?
