Hi Meatwagon, I talked to Rob Halford in 2002 (I write for a metal magazine) when he came to play here in Italy. he said to me that A Touch Of Evil talks exactly of a deal with the devil and he thinks that all the politicians in the world have a deal like this. He said also to be very fashinated by the image of the Devil as the keeper of all sins and pleasures, so the "dark angel of sin" is something that push us to have all our "powerlife", as he said. Sex and drugs included (yeah!). I don't understand why all you in USA are so obsessed by Rob homosexuality. Who cares what he likes when he's off stage? I care only when he's on stage. He's a god. Accept rules! Anyway it seems that in the USA are afraid about the power and the evil of the true european metal. There are a lot af posts about the more stupid Metallica songs and very few about band as Accept, Gamma Ray (first 3 albums) and Judas Priest. I read a lot of posts of people worried about the evil, satanic and criminal face of classic heavy metal (its ture face). Hey, americans, be sure that european metallers never prayed jesus!... Hi guys! I'a surprized that this song has not been commented how it deserves because is one the the greatest Judas priest's songs ever! To me is clearly that the song talks about a deal with the Devil. It's someone who needs to change is life and to do that he calls a "dark angel of sin". Sure, the dark angel can be everyone but the general meaning of the song is pretty clear to me.
