Gon' take this raindrop
Down to the sea, whoa
It will wash my fears away
And when I wake up
I'll see you smiling
You are my ocean
Rain down on me

Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet
Get up on your feet (yeah)
Get up on your feet

Never been the one for backing down
I keep it steady, ready, if somebody at me now
Well, life is funny, so sometimes you gotta act a clown
But one thing about a blessing, it come back around
Ask around
I'm known by over half the town
And they rootin' for a kid like me
I was once at home all alone making songs
In the image of a person that I just might be
So now I feel free
Tell me what's next
Will it go right if I turn left?
If I'm really taking flight, can we cop a little jet?
There's so much I wanna see
And so much I'm gonna get
Gotta keep my stride with a pepped-up step
I'ma be just fine, you can make that bet
Everything's on time
'Cause it's all concept
Live a carefree life
Ain't got one regret
Nah

Oh
Get up on your feet, get up on your feet

Woke up this morning with joy in my mouth
And love on my lips (ayy)
Nothing's too much for a child of creation
Was born with this gift
Si el dolor es pesado no pares
The rain came from heaven to harvest
I promise you love is the ocean
And I'm just a little droplet, ayy
They said it couldn't be done
Mama was a queen, and she raised three sons
Taking deep breaths like I got three lungs
No es mi final, we have just begun
Ayy, be ready now the pain stops
Collecting the blessings and raindrops (uh-huh)
Been living in a box of stars
Just the whole wide world
With the love in my heart (let's go)

Maybe this phone is not good for my, good for my head
I'm scrolling, I'm scrolling, I'm scrolling
I scroll and I scroll on my phone 'til I wish I was-
Dead, nah, I said what I said
I should be cheering instead of upset
I should be cheesy and hop on a trend
Isn't it easier just to pretend?
What do I get? (Ayy)

Down to my elbows
Down to my knees
Down to my worn-down toes and feet
Down to the rivers and down to the seas
Down to the sun as it rise in the East
Down to the sky as calm as peace
Down to the smallest thing there is
Wash me, raindrops, wash me clean
Maybe then I might be me

Kubo kubo iTolo litshona kubo
Aligobi alijiki phambili itsho inqubo
Bendiyombethe irhwexa lengubo
De ndawanyathela onke lameva angumgubo

Ziyabonakala iziphumo zentshukumo
Ndinityebisela ngamagama angangomdlali wesumo
Life is good is nice- Sdumo
Ndivuka ndinoncumo naphakathi kwendudumo

Ndiyakhululeka kulomboko ndiyeke
Thula wena ubheke ndikhe ndipheke
Ndibulelela ungakhali oko ndiqhekeke ndihleke
Intsikelelo zigcwale zichitheke idolo ndilibeke

Intando yakho mayenzeke
Uthando maluqheleke
Inkohlakalo ishiyeke
Impilo yongezeke uMdali adeke
Yeah

Get up on your feet, get up on your feet

Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet

Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Allez chantez
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Gon' take this raindrop
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet
Gon' take this raindrop, raindrop
Oh, get up on your feet, get up on your feet

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing

Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
