What can I do with my obsession
With the things I cannot see
Is there madness in my being
Is it wind that blows the trees
Sometimes you're further than the moon
Sometimes you're closer than my skin
And you surround me like a winter fog
You've come and burned me with a kiss

And my heart burns for you
And my heart burns

And I'm so filthy with my sin
I carry pride like a disease
You know I'm stubborn God and I'm longing
to be close
You burn me deeper than I know
I feel lonely without hope
I feel desperate without vision
You wrap around me like a winter coat
You come and free me like a bird

And my heart burns for you
And my heart burns for you

General CommentSuch a powerful song..a song that you'd play in the background for when you're praying. Amazing.

General CommentThis was my anthem for many years. It just sums it all up for me - how God is seemingly everywhere and nowhere all at one time. He surrounds me, but I often feel so far away.No doubt this is especially true when "I'm so filthy with my sin." But at the end of the day, it comes down to one simple truth: He is with me, and my heart burns for Him.

General Commentat the last gig i went to (liverpool Dec 17th 2005) they played this and it was so powerful lyrically but also physically becuase the bass and the drum intro made your whole body just shake with the force of the sound and you could feel it right through your body. Stu Gs E-bowing was great aswel
