"Even Song" as written by and Ian Thomas/blackburn Ball....
Red old eyes, now where you from
You catch me every day
Colours hide not even song
It's all been washed away

Sun stop going down
Come out again
Stop fading out
Awake again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

Blues old face, you finally come around
And talking in your sleep
Buried secrets and fiery showdowns
Lost days in between

It's all the same
Let it go before it gets too late
Don't play our game

Sun stop going down
Come out again
Stop fading out
Awake again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

Sun is going down
Come out again
Don't feel so proud
Get straight again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

It's all the same
Let it go before it gets too late
Don't play our game

Sun stop going down
Come out again
Stop fading out
Awake again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

Sun is going down
Come out again
Don't feel so proud
Get straight again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

Sun stop going down
Come out again
Stop fading out
Awake again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

Sun is going down
Come out again
Don't feel so proud
Get straight again

Sun stop going down
Stop going down

General CommentI think it's about drug addiction, and getting so close to coming out of it but the light fading. The compair it to the sun rising in the moring, but then going down in the afternoon and then wishing it wouldn't set after it's risen. Very clever imagary, Gomez are really good at that, it's impressive. Too few people know it though.
