See that face from across the room
and I can feel you're nothing
show your fear it's not hard to see
intentions pale, it's blinding

stop stop from place i've been
no good for the shape i'm in
i'm sold to the race you win
you want to take me out

stop stop

will you face off him
my space in the wickedy sin
no change for the place I'm in
but you change too

stop! stop!

I am all you need to know
and I am everywhere you go
no one can save you now
when it all comes around
and I'm everything you see
and I'm what you'll never be
no one can save you now
when it all comes around

show your face
and stare at me
and I can feel you clearing
showing up and preparing me
and you're the one I'm bury

stop stop

from place i've been
no good for the shape i'm in
i'm sold to the race you win
you want to take me out

stop stop

will you face off him
my space in the wickedy sin
no change for the place I'm
but you change too

stop! stop!

And I am all you need to know
and I'm everywhere you go
no one can save you now
when it all comes around
and I'm everything you see
and I'm what you'll never be
no one can save you now
when it all comes around

take you down
leave you fallen, faceless, hurt
and leave you down
fall, break you now
leave you fallen, faceless, hurt
and take you down
wanna take you down!

I am all you need to know
I am everywhere you go
no one can save you now
when it all comes around
I am everything you see
I am what you'll never be
no one can save you now
when it all comes around

Yeah I agree with you Sillen. It's about a person who he was in love with but she did something to him that made him feel horrible. And this song is about one day she'll get what she deserves.

Awesome song, my favorite from Trust Co. Just saw them live, and this song rocked. I think it's about getting revenge and how kharma will come back to get you.

I agree with Sillen as well. I see this as "what comes around, goes around" and maybe this person he loved will someday realize what she lost. That he could of been the person that she needed so much but took it for granted.

"I am all you need to know I am everywhere you go no one can save you now when it all comes around"

This makes me think that when she truly discovers who she is she'll realize that this the person she wanted to be with. And by then it'll be too late.

It seems like all the relationships I'm in seem to be at the "wrong time, wrong place" so I can really empathize with this song. That when I love someone, they don't realize how good it can be until they push me too far away.

This is indeed a song about revenge or someone getting what they deserve. It's just like a "Figure 8", everything eventually goes back around in the same circle.

I can relate to this song. There is this one guy who I love more than anything but I'm not sure where things are going between us. I know he wants to be with someone because he told me, but yet I am right there and he won't fall my way. He acts a little like he likes me, but I don't know. I can't keep just waiting forever and ruin my life. But I think once I finally do find someone, I think he is going to look back a realize what he could have had!

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
