Blink-182 – Ghost on the Dance Floor Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Going off of Natives88's comment, this song might be about Jerry Finn, Blink's long-time producer. He passed away in 2008, and this is the first time Blink jas been back in the studio since then. Maybe this song was written in the studio? |
Blink-182 – MH 4.18.2011 Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I think the "living in the shadow of a helicopter" line is about living in military-occupied areas or citizens living under high government scrutiny, literally living under the constant shadows of helicopters. |
Blink-182 – Kaleidoscope Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I wonder if this song is about the anxieties of getting the band back together? Maybe worries of arguments and the like ensuing on tour -- "a bad dream of a journey on a highway, through the valley." Favorite song on "Neighborhoods." |
Your Heart Breaks – Bad Company Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Ehhhhh... Here's how the song actually goes: You said your dad's in jail for sleeping with students I noticed your mother is never in town You get all the affection that they never give be getting fucked, drunk and sleeping around You got your first tattoo when you turned 13 a stick 'n' poke from a carny, and you lost your virginity Stealing beers from your brother, passed out And leaving town's all you ever talk about Oh come on, it's not so bad now, come on, Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on And I snuck out every night at twelve Catching rides to your side of town Hauled snare drums and acoustic guitars, some stupid fantasy of making out Old records on the stereo, and then Sabbath comes on and you air-guitar through the solo tap harmonics on a beat-up SG You got some kids you roll with I call bad company Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on, Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on, Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on, Oh come on, things aren't so bad now, come on |
