Yes...i dunno if anyone on this board heard about the Brand New/ Taking Back Sunday drama. Apparantly a whole bunch of crap happened between two of them so yes "i got a twenty-dollar bill that says..." is either used in this song making fun of the TBS guy...or it's used in "There's no I in team" making fun of this song. I'm not sure which. Strangely the two bands are still playing together, despite personal differences. |

Wow...people have finally realized how great this song truly is. I heard it for the first time about a year ago and to whoever asked about the Jimmy Eat World reference, it does fit because in "For Me This Is Heaven" there is the line "the first star i see may not be a star" which opens the song. I think what the lyricist is trying to put across is that he and his girlfriend would sit in the car listening to music and watching the stars, and the star line simply was a memorable one in the writers mind. And the whole "living room" thing is a really amazing theme through the song. As he mentions "And i'm sleeping in your living room" the reader assumes that he means the room where the tv is, maybe a couch, etc. But the twist at the end explains that he merely means "the room for her to live"...."Cause we all need a little room to live". LIVEing room...get it? I'm shocked at how emotional and great everyones responses are! |

This song....ooooh my lord. I think it fits me and this guy right now. His band is touring and we talk a lot and say that once he's home we're gonna make out. It just reminds me of him and i love listening to it. TSL is SOOOOOOOOOO GREAT! |
