The Colour – The Devils Got a Holda Me Lyrics

I like the song...but can anyone say rip off of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll?" Jeez, he just says "lonely" one less time, but sings it the exact same way. *grumble grumble* |

I think he sounds a bit more Ozzy than Robert Plant, but similar on both accounts while channeling a bit of Deep Purple. The guitar is a bit more Deep Purple than Led Zep though. JMVHO. |

Dido – Here With Me Lyrics

This song is very haunting...it's on the "Love Actually" soundtrack and it totally fits perfectly with the chorus picking up with what sounds like a tiny hint of the bagpipes. Totally appropriate. See the movie if you haven't... |

Okay, this song, eh, I don't know anything about it or whatever. All I know is that Alan Rickman is in the video and it makes me want to give him a good rogering. That is all. |

Led Zeppelin – Houses of the Holy Lyrics

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the band called where they played houses of the holy. Anyways, about the "satanic" references about Satan and Man being your master, if you listen to song, there's quite a bit of a pause before Plants says "Oh, Satan and man," so I think they are talking about their music and not necessarily about Satan. Man, this kinda like reading one verse out of the Bible literally without reading the rest of the chapter in context... |

Snow Patrol – Run Lyrics

Maybe I'm just crazy, but this song somehow vaguely reminded me of the movie Signs where Mel Gibson's character is saying goodbye to his wife as she's dying. I also think it could be about someone in a coma who the songwriter loves and they are never going to come back so it talks about last goodbyes. "Light up" can maybe refer to getting up as a last plea before the real final goodbye. *shrug* |

Anyone seen the movie with Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet called "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?" This song reminds me of that movie... |

Led Zeppelin – Bron-Y-Aur Stomp Lyrics

Merle coloring isn't breed specific (ie Great Danes versus any other dogs). Anyone know specifically what kind of dog did he have? My guess is that he probably is talking about the Australian Shepherd. They come in both red and blue merle colors (as well as others) and they can have blue or brown eyes. They are great dogs, or so I hear... |
