| Most when looking at Lp lyrics, automatically relatwe it to a relationship. Though different songs mean different things to different people at different times, this is what this song could mean to me. I see it as someone close to the guy has died. I know he was there when the person died, but not sure weather or not to say he killed this person or if he saw someone kill this person. I do know that he seems to have been shot/stabbed or whatvever happened, and too late to stop the person from shooting/stabbing the one so close to him. And then he woke up in a hospital, cold feet on the floor, trying to forget about yesterday's events. Now, the memories are all flooding back I'm guessing a year later on that same day. OR, what could have happened, was dude got into a fight with his lady and accidently killed her. And the cold feet on the floor would be prison. But fact of the matter, either way. the memory is haunting him and he can't shake it. The face, voice, and all he knew about this person is trapped in a memory. He sees this person all the time, walking down the street or whatnot. But it always turns out just to be in his mind. Like it says, even though this prson is so close to him, he can't bring them back. Even if they're not with him, he's with them. And he blames himself for this. | |
