in an interview dan said this was a very personal song.. he was probably really depressed at the time he wrote this song...
i think it's about him thinking he's really fucked up and he wants help; and he' ll do anything to change (prescribe me anything; i have no desire to see thru my own eyes anymore)
but with the title, take lots with alcohol, itlooks like he was just going to take lots of pills with alcohol... like.. suicide? |

I'm going to have to agree with MechSpike's meaning of the song.. but, as stupid as this may sound, when matt sings..
"and i'm living in lack, of the blood sent from your heartbeat that arrived in your neck"
it sort of makes me think of some kind of vampire, hence the fact that theres the carotid(sp?) artery in the neck and the blood there is all warm and stuff and the neck is mostly where vampires bite..? |
