Rush – Time Stand Still Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Deals with the nature of our society - Things move to quickly, kids want to grow up too fast, and people are too busy to pause and enjoy the present. |
Rush – Heresy Lyrics | 21 years ago |
The first verse appears to be written about the fall of communism in russia (Roll the Bones was released in 1991). The second verse to be a critiscism of North American consumerism. The third verse seems to deal with the cold war. I think the entire song deals with the impact that political conflicts between nations have on civillians |
Rush – The Trees Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I'm not sure exactly what this song is about, but I have some ideas: 1) Symbolism of trees in a forest represents the racism between white and black people in North America 2) Symbolism of feminist movements, women want more rights, men feel they should accept there role in society (and they wonder why the maples can't be happy in their shade) Great song, Great lyrics, Great band!! |
