| From my point of view this song refers to our dark side. He is trying to empathize with his dark side so it becomes and allied and not an enemy so he can control it. He is describing his dark treats trying to distinguish them and define them to understand its nature without judgements and feel the pain from another perspective recognizing that our dark side is a strong adversary urge desires that breaks our will making us fall but its okey because energy can't be created or destroyed it can only be transformed and the only way we can reveal light is from transforming our darkness. So he is seducing his dark side becoming smart using his dark side strategies giving him some hope to see the light. Such poetic imaginery verses. | |
