Emery – In A Win, Win Situation Lyrics | 7 years ago |
This song was written by Toby Morrell before he and his wife were married. The temptation and decision they faced was whether or not to wait until marriage to make love. As a Christian couple, they wanted to wait. The idea of a "Win/Win" situation was that if they waited until they were married, they were following God's will; if they did not wait, they had the pleasure of being more intimate with each other. Either was a win/win situation. If you can't sleep alone (if you can't sleep alone) I'm better off I'm better off If you can't hear the song (if you can't hear the song) Then turn it off Then turn if off If you cast that first stone Then throw them all Then throw them all. The idea was that if they couldn't wait, they were better off. But if they could wait, they were also better off. And if you hear this song and want to cast stones for judging their decision, then throw them all. |
