Matthew Good – Bright End Of Nowhere Lyrics 7 years ago
To me this sounds like Matt good has given up. Not because he has lost or has been beaten;

He's admitted defeat because he has become false to himself. He's seen the hardships now, to the degree that he no longer understands his origional standpoint; that surviving throught this world isn't that tough. It's you against me(teenagers); it's you against us(mature); it's you against my family(adult). He's accepted the fact that you can't fight this world. It can be beautiful at so many points, but in the end all the deaths, pain, holding things in about whatever big or small, etc, etc... Has made its impact.

That is just the first 1:40 seconds of this song in my perspective. Long story short, he isn't sad. He's accepted this and can just look at the world in a passive way, accepping the beautifully amazing things and the horribly painful experiences. Both amplify the other feeling. You couldn't feel this happy at memories of good times if you can't appreciate how much the bad times take lashes at your being. Life becomes.

I've just read through this, and it isn't long story short, but Incubus' "Are you in?" Is on next and I really want to listen to it as It's been like 5 of this Matt Goods' song in a row and I've gotta sleep soon so fuck this shit.

Taker' easy.
