I know this is extremely radical to some, but interpretations are commonly personal. So therefore... It is the universe and scientific nature of existence. The death and birth of stars, the chaos of large mass and gravity. Humanity are the blood legion of our sun, who is a mechanical apparatus, a comparatively tiny, yet unfathomly giant nuclear reactor who's a raging part of the whole universe, the source of life, the father of mother Earth who bore us. Over billions of years. Being eternal because the universe is, which we are a part of. The sun claims its throne in the sky. The chaos in the mechanics and size of the universe being difficult to grasp except by individual phenomena we discover, and the sound rationalization that its continuum is in motion in a way that cannot be acted upon mostly by the sheer fact of its size. In chaos, we, through evolution developed will itself, and that is why we are blood legion to the harsh mechanics of an unbending universe. Faith is will, and it is unique to many life forms on Earth. We now know that we are star dust, and star dust creates stars, and that stars rise and fall through the dust they create in death that comes back together and re-ignites. We are definitely immortal in a sense, yet there is pure divinity and value in human life. Which doesn't really explain the whole thing, but this is what I see in my mind when I listen to the song. |
