I think this song is about war."Another battle never won Each side is a loser So who cares who fired the gun?" It seems like she is trying to find the point and hope that maybe things could change. St Jude may be a reference to hope, often saints are those who are there to help others. Florence Is trying to find hope in the oblivion of pointless wars that lead to nothing but each side losing, waiting for her blessing. |
