My interpretation of this song is as follows: "The way it pulls when season's change" There is a girl who is hurt and broken from a past love. "You are perfect porcelain" The voice of the song knows that this girl is the one for him. He thinks she is the perfect one. "I'm right here when you need someone to see. It's not speak or forever hold your peace" He is saying that he will wait for her. He will be there for her when she finally heals, but to take her time because he will be patient. "It's alright to take your time and find where you've been... It's alright if you don't know what you need." He loves her but he is telling her to take her time and that it's okay to be confused about everything. "When your heart releases you won't fall to pieces" When she let's go of this past love, she won't crumble to nothing because he will be there for her. "You'll let those old diseases lie" The singer is anticipating that she will finally come to the realization that her past love was not meant to be, and that she'll finally be able to move on. (Hopefully with him!) |
