@[swa528:3929] I think you are spot on. I've walked that very dark road. Once you have lost any hope you once had, you have lost your will to live. You cannot survive this life without having hope. Hope that tomorrow will be better. Hope that you can overcome this severe depression. Hope that you will find the person you once were. It doesn't matter how you got to that point. Once you've gotten that far down, the illness really does take over. It's a brutal illness. You are fighting against the thoughts of your own brain. The pain, darkness and loneliness can last for years and all you want is relief from the constant despair. It's not the person who takes their own life. It's the illness that kills him. It just uses his own hands too do it. Misery is hollow.....indeed it is. |
