I thought the song might be about Seasonal Affective Disorder, because SAD comes at around the same time every year (usually with a season, for example: symptoms may last through Autumn and Winter). "I know this time of year ain't right for you You came with a sickness Shot down back in Christmas kamikaze rain" and we know depression can be treated with medication. "Wake up, take your pills dear" and weight loss can be a symptom of depression. "And I'm sure you've lost that weight again" And with SAD, the symptoms may clear up with Spring (when winter finishes). "With clocks, watch the time go Til spring, when the sun can finally be free" That might just be my interpretation :/ Beautiful song though :3 |
