Phil has finally gotten off the drugs. He got hooked on oxy when he jumped off a speaker at a concert and jacked up some vertebrae he late had fused.....Once he got hooked on oxy heroin quickly followed...This song shows his desperation and hopelessness he finds himself in now....He tries to live but keeps dying to the drug...He tries to hide tries to keep it together but cant...Everything falls like withering flowers before him....The whole Great Southern Trend Kill is saturated with a a drug addicts cries....Im glad he got clean but the whole addiction destroyed his friendship with DImebag and Vinnie to such a degree he wasnt allowed at the funeral....Suicide Note part 1 is exactly what the title of the song cries |
