Elvin Bishop – Fooled Around And Fell In Love Lyrics 9 years ago
This is a classic song. There is nothing to explain, he fools around and then falls in love. LOVE. How can you put true love in to words, it's so powerful, so he sings ...and I fell in love. Nothing more to say. The background music and and the whole vibe of the song is a description of love. Righteous/religious, mysterious, sad, passionate, deep. It's hard to put love in to words. That's what I love about this song. It's like he is saying, I fell in love man, what more can I say. Unless you have fallen deeply in love you just won't really get it.

Billy Joel – She's Always A Woman Lyrics 9 years ago
The grey fool is pretty much spot on, the unattainable woman. I have been in love big time and this song expresses exactly how I felt about her. She is not dumb or stupid or cruel. She is complicated, deep, strong, childish and the rest all rolled into one. Great song. I didn't realise the way I felt could be put into words until I listened to the lyrics of this song.

Paramore – The Only Exception Lyrics 10 years ago
This is a great song. Lots of comments discuss the age aspect but alot of people of different ages can relate to this song. We try to keep a straight face and try to kid ourselves we don't need love and don't believe we'll find true love until it actually happens ie. we find the true exception. Some people never find it. Probably most people have not seen true love in their parents because true love is so rare. Most people grow to 'love' or tolerate each other but there are some few couples who actually find true love, both of them and the sky is the limit, all your preconceptions and walls vanish and you find out there really is a thing as true love and it's really powerful. This song is also so good because of the harmony and simplicity of the acoustic guitar. Fantastic lyrics. This song is under rated, it's a 10/10. I didn't really understand this song until I fell in love big time. She is definitely writing from experience.

The Waterboys – The Whole Of The Moon Lyrics 10 years ago
I know exactly what this means: He met a girl. She was head over heals in love with him and as you do when your madly in love you make the mistake of taking it too fast. She went 'too fast too, too high too soon'. She saw the whole of the moon and he played it safe and only saw the cresent. He 'spoke about wings' ie he had a glimpse and talked about love but she 'just flew' ie she actually experienced it. There are many songs about love and the moon such as Savage Garden's Too the moon and back. Like love there's mystery. He looks back now and saw how much she was in love, she could fly, she reached for the stars, wind at your heals, she climbed the ladder, like in love. Hey it's all about true love. She took it too quick and the relationship broke up and she fell from heaven. However he looks back and sort of admires her for it and remembers the good part of falling deeply in love and is basically saying 'you found true love in your lifetime', not everyone does, in fact very few. She
