This is a song about the transitory nature of romantic relationships. The author cites the howling 'wind' as the reason for the inevitable demise of his love affairs and chooses to put a positive spin on the matter, saying that he will never forget the magic feeling of being in love.. even if the relationship was a mistake. This song is beautiful.. though you can easily look at the author as sort of a cad who is the love them and leave them type.. he is the man who is 'making them shake'. |
