Any slight against a young (good) girl is breaking her heart. She is mad at him for spending his time doing something other than visiting with her. You can almost hear her complain "Didn't you even miss me?Don't you know you're breaking my heart?" I don't think she's upset at him for not spending his time with her. It's more like he had a short fling with her and doesn't really care about her. He just sees her as an object and not a human being with feelings. He leaves her and breaks her heart, because she had feelings for him but he doesn't return them. Later on, he realizes he did have feelings for her and feels guilty. |
