The Hollies – He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother Lyrics 11 years ago
This is a song which was written in the late 60's. To me this song is a reflection of what what happening in the world at that time. Black people were struggling for their rights and not all whites were accepting this new change. The words:
" he ain't heavy he's my brother"
" his welfare is my concern"
"while we're on the way to there... why not share"
" if Im ladden ... I'm ladden with sadness that everyones heart isn't filled with the gladness of love for one another"

To me these lyrics were an appeal to humanity to accept one another, love another and share this beautiful world we all live in. Brilliant lyrics!
