Marina and the Diamonds – Primadonna Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Love this song! I think it's the thoughts of a woman who feels unhappy and that they think material things will make her feel better. She always wants to be adored. |
Marina and the Diamonds – Starstrukk (3OH!3 & Katy Perry cover) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I think that she means that she really does not know what love is, and that she thinks it's only sex. when she says "L-O-V-E is just another word I never learned to pronounce" she never learned what love really is about. I get the feeling that she thinks sex is not really love. |
Marina and the Diamonds – Scab and Plaster Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Well, I figure one thing for sure, scab is a natural healer, plaster is an artificial substance that almost instantly covers up something. when she means "picking at the scab" she means this person continues to tear her down when she's trying to let herself heal from whatever she is healing from, but since this person is doing this, she has to result to putting up plaster, something fast. When she says she's "selling the plaster" she's making it believable that putting up the instant plaster that she is fine to convince him. The rest is a little hard for me. |
