This is a pretty nice song. Love how it sounds kind of like you're caught in a nightmare... Ain't too keen on the meaning, though... really, they push this abortion stuff in our faces TOO MUCH! Leave it up to people who CARE! Anyway, white robes remind me of good... because in the Dragonlance books, good wizards wear white robes... Just saying. Nothing to do with the meaning. |

May is the narrator's girlfriend, and she has just left a relationship with an abusive ex-boyfriend, because he got her pregnant, forced her to have an abortion and found out she was cheating on him with the narrator. The narrator is comforting his girlfriend because her parents are shocked she even got pregnant in the first place, and he is telling her that she needs to move on from this negative experience. Just my interpretation :) P.S. I love this song! |
