It appears that he loves this person, but can't accept it without further evidence and wants he cries out "Lover can't you help me?" He needs his lover to help him stopped being "Pulled by a false inertia," i.e. the inertia caused by his black heart. "

Can anyone please be so kind and explain the meaning of " I'd swing if you'd hand me, hand me the bat " to me and what " be the rabbit in your head " means and refers to ? Thank you :)
