this meaning of this song: "Watch you crawl" is a fight between a person (you) and the serpent (devil), which he is filled with nothing but lies ("I watched you swim with all your lies") and he tries to to bring death upon you ("And as you wait for my demise")"DEMISE-means "Death" or "departure from life" he wants to win you to death,But we as believers we have God and when were being tempted and overcome the devil with scriptures from the Word of God (bible)just as Jesus Christ did when he was tempted in the wilderness by the devil (Matthew.4: 1-11)we just get stronger ("Im just getting stronger") ("Learning who you really are And nothing can save you")-,when we learn about the devil we understand that he wants us to sin to keep us away from God and nothing can save him because Jesus died for man not for angles (Hebrews 2:16-18) ("And I will watch you fall again") Lucifer (his name when he was in heaven) (devil)was cast out of heaven ( he fell from heaven) (Isaiah 14:12) and the devil will be release from his pit in hell and then he will(was),be defeated AGAIN and CAST down in to the lake of fire and he will burn there forver (Revelation (20:17-10)so the meaning of the song is that we have victory over the devil and we will watch him crawl so this is my meaning to it and i hope it helped you as it helped me :) (if you say this has nothing to do with the devil then ,why would a christian say this against a friend or enemy) (James 1:13) says that we cannot be tempted by God but we our tempted by our desires of our flesh which is sin (james 1:15) that is how satan (devil) temps us.For example porn that's our desire of our flesh aka our senses(Genesis 3:6 it pleased eve's eye (flesh) to eat the apple God said not to eat"),if The serpent never tempted eve to eat the fruit from the the tree there wouldn't be no "sin ("Genesis 3:14) well yeah this proves that its is talking about the devil in the lyrics,,,peace! glory be to God and be blessed!! shalom. |
