The J. Geils Band – Centerfold Lyrics | 12 years ago |
ok, im not an idiot, but i cant figure out the meaning of this song, as good as it is. If it's about sex which im gonna guess that by looking at the other posts here, dont bother explaining it to me cause i'll never figure it out. oh, and by the way, NAAAHHH NAAAHHH NAH NAH NAH NAH, NAAHH NAAHH NAH NAHNAHNAH NAH NAH :D |
The Rolling Stones – Sympathy for the Devil Lyrics | 12 years ago |
i agree that there's no god/devil, but thats not what this song is about. i would like for it to be about that, but as a realist, i cant really say that when its not true. i do admit that im not sure what the song is about. just not this. |
The Rolling Stones – Sympathy for the Devil Lyrics | 12 years ago |
ok, i seem to understand this a little better than others. heres everything the song refers to in order: temptations of Jesus Christ the "pilate" that authorized Jesus' crucifiction the Communist uprising in Russia the assasination of almost the entire government of Russia during said uprising world war 2 concentration camps hundred year war the assination of the kennedy's this is the one thats got everyone confused. The troubadours were musicians/composers, and ones that went to Bombay were known to do so for money. they were also known to never be seen again. Little more than you thought, isn't it? it usually is. I will gladly take any critisism that anyone has if they think im wrong. Georgia rules! |

screw the meaning! just listen to the bloody song, don't just try to interpret it! For anyone who does not know how to do that, look at this: A: turn on the music 2: blast it as loud as you can so you cant think your welcome |
Flight of the Conchords – Jenny Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Flight of the Conchords – Robots Lyrics | 12 years ago |
how come this is the only song that people comment on? listen to all the songs, maybe you'll like the former 4th rated parody group in New Zealand. |
Flight of the Conchords – Busdriver Song Lyrics | 12 years ago |
the only people who dont like this song are presbyterians. |
Digable Planets – Rebirth of Slick Lyrics | 12 years ago |

The Blues Brothers – Soul Man Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Limp Bizkit – Behind Blue Eyes (The Who cover) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I came upon this song purely by accident, and i will never listen to another version. i just cant. This song seems to be talking me. Im treated as a bad person, im always sad, hell, ive got blue fuckin eyes!... im hated by many, and my fate seems to always be in someone else hands. I cant tell any truths, because then i have to admit my pain. i cant show any pain so i have tell lies about everyting. i bite back my rage more than anyone, i cant let ti out.i dont know if whoever made this song feels the same way, but im beat down, lonely, and truly no one else knows what its like...so lonely..... |
Harry Chapin – W*O*L*D Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I dont know why this song resonates so much with me, hell, im fifteen! guess that just goes to show that some songs are powerful to everyone that heres it. shame i cant find more people who know it... |

Foreigner – Jukebox Hero Lyrics | 12 years ago |
This song is so good, it makes me want to take out the old Les Paul I have and learn how to play it!...although, I cant read music notes, and I cant ever remember where to put my hands.....wait a minute, the songs over. I got restart it! |
The Black Eyed Peas – Anxiety Lyrics | 12 years ago |
FUCK ALL OF YOU. sorry, im listenen to the song right now, and it always puts me in a mood. Still helps though, i got a lot of problems, and this song....I have a unique position on the meaning of this song. Its not just about anxiety, its about the feeling. I dont have anxiety, or paranoia, but there still times when i have to fight an insane urge yo pound whatever is in front me into bits. I also dont really get emotional about anything, as I dont really understand emotion. I dont get scared by much. Enemies?no.Bullets?still no. The next time I have to fight to control myself?.....I would say more, but i have to go huddle into a ball with a stuffed bear i havent touch in a few decades and cry. |
Ozzy Osbourne – Mr. Crowley Lyrics | 12 years ago |
wow, the swastika's everywhere, isnt it? lets see.. Sioux Indians Nordic Thunder God Extremist Christians ( the most used reason for Hitler using the symbol) Egyptian Gods Indian Subcultures This thing is everywhere, dont try and figure outwhere the Nazis got. Sure, Crowly could have used the symbol, but so did thousands of other people at the time all around the planet! Stop tryin to get into a madmans head and just listen to the damn song. Georgia rules! |
Ozzy Osbourne – Mr. Crowley Lyrics | 12 years ago |
hey, that part about his birthmark is crap. He was born in the 1900's, but before the 40's, and the swastika was originally a symbol for devout christians. (Note: im not a christian, i just know a lot about WWII era history) Georgia rules! |
DragonForce – Through the Fire and Flames Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Dragonforce made a deal with the devil. He gave them the souls of the rock gods, and in return they spread his message of hell throughout the world....hang on, i gotta phonecall.......oh.... that was Death, he says they freed the rock gods. Satans pissed! Georgia rules! |

Genesis – That's All Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Time for me to put a monkey wrench in here with my most likely wrong interpretation with my messed up perspective. First part: he thought the relationship would wirk, found out he was wrong, realized that that was what he was thinking the entire time, ie.- it's always the same Second part: him and whoever argue over basically everything, each refusing to agree with the other Third part: He can leave anytime, and he wants to (though my heart might tell me so). He doesnt actually have any feelings for his girlfriend. Fourth part: there looking at eachother to see if there is anything that they missed that would keep the relationship going. The song basically goes back and forth with him either trying to find something to love or knowing that there isn't anything there. (note: if you agree with all of this, you might want to go see a shrink) Georgia rules! |
Genesis – That's All Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I read the whole thing, good interpretation that makes sense. Oh, if the guy your talkin about doesnt want to be with you, just be friends. Thats what I think(also this song is awsome). Georgia rules! |
Steppenwolf – Magic Carpet Ride Lyrics | 12 years ago |
stop trying to overexplain what is only a great song. oh, props to rockon4life, you nailed man! Georgia rules |
Don McLean – American Pie Lyrics | 12 years ago |
This is about the decade when so many of the most famous people of the country all died. It is vewied as the worst decade of U.S history by some.Everyone mentioned in the song died in the same decade. this is my favorite song ever....its also the saddest song ive ever heard. |
Queen – Seven Seas Of Rhye Lyrics | 13 years ago |
To everynoe who tries to pin this as a religous christian song, F#%$ OFF. Great song, Queens awsome, back off religous a#$holes. Georgia rules |
Kansas – Carry on Wayward Son Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Everyone who says this song has anything to do with Jesus, just shut the hell up. Thats not what the song is about, and im not saying that just because im not christian. I can actually relate to this song.... The pain and suffering that comes with a heavy burden, the inner turmoil of the mind.....I... forget it, Im not opening up my feelings just for a song meaning. |
Blue Öyster Cult – Don't Fear The Reaper Lyrics | 13 years ago |
oh, one more thing. this is a great song and all, but the guitar riff they do after the second verse just really freaks me out! Whats with that? |
Blue Öyster Cult – Don't Fear The Reaper Lyrics | 13 years ago |
First off, what the hell is this Cow Bell thing everyones reffering to? Anyway, the first time I heard this song was on a CD that I have called "Greatest Hits of Classic Rock." (Its an awsome 3 CD set! Its got Foreigner, Foghat, The Doobie Brothers, Kansas, and even got a song from Kiss, get it!) Anyway, I almost didn't even listen to the song, mainly because of the bands name, and the fact that the only other song they have on the CD is "Godzilla", which I think is just wierd. But it is a really good song. Kinda creepy, but I like that about it. Georgia rules |
The Beatles – Back in the U.S.S.R. Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Heres a mental mans review. First off, glad that nobody thinks hes talking about the state when he says "Georgia's always on my mind." anyway, i'm think that this about a spy or sometthing like that going back to the USSR.... Or maybe just a guy sent there by force... I dont know, I just lost track of what I was thimking about........ Georgia rules |
The Beatles – Come Together Lyrics | 13 years ago |
K, heres me with my twisted thinking of the song, The songs saying we should come together, its just not happening...probably wrong, but hey, what can you expect from someone with severe mental problems?XD XD XD XD XD Georgia rules |
Queen – Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I probably shouldn't comment, since I'm not good with love and what is to me crap, but I'm listening to this rigt now. There is nothing about the person singing being gay! People just think that because Freddies gay. So what? profilers p.s listen to The Seven Seas of Rhye, I thinks it's one of Queens best songs |
Queen – We Will Rock You Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I agree with some of the responces, but I got my own view. First off, this song and "We Are The Champions" are meant to be played and interpreted together. When you look at both songs, the tones go through, first: the life of a lower class person playing in te dirt, then joining what could be a gang, then getting older and seeing he did things wrong. The whole time, the lowr class is fighting with the upper class, or champions, and saying that they will rock you!, or take down the wealthy. Georgia rules. |
Queen – We Will Rock You Lyrics | 13 years ago |
not about freddy or gayness, so shut the hell up! |
Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I partially agree with gorgood. just because theres somethin similar between a song and the band, people assume they're connected. NOT TRUE.if it was true, then there would be some pretty disturbing songs out there, i promise you. Get off the AIDS kick and just enjoy the song. p.s. Georgia is awsome |
Queen – Flash Lyrics | 13 years ago |
good for you. |
Queen – Bicycle Race Lyrics | 13 years ago |
your an asshole. Yay for Chag279!!!! |
Queen – Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics | 13 years ago |
at this time there have been 180 comments put about this song. more than half of them say something about a secret message in the words. GO AWAY!!! this is awsome song, and your messin it up because of a conspiracy theory about marijuana! Why dont you all blog on a conspiracies website or somethin'? |
Queen – Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics | 13 years ago |
:-) (laughing)!!! |
Aerosmith – Janie's Got A Gun Lyrics | 13 years ago |
why the hells eveybody try and mess with a good song? dad rapes daughter, mom kills dad, runs away. That's it! It;s sad, but that is it! im tired of people trying to find the "emotional truth" of songs like this that just tell you! (not Russian) |
Lynyrd Skynyrd – Sweet Home Alabama Lyrics | 13 years ago |
SteveOrama, pay attention to the song! First of all, the missing line is "boo, hoo, hoo", indicating cry'in, not boo'in. The people ah Birmingham tried to get another govenor but failed, which is why the next line says "we all did what we could do". Next.... you know what? I could go on for hours about this, so i'm just gonna say that half of the crap you put is wrong. Just ask a southern man. Alabama rules, YEEHAWWW!!! |
The Beatles – Eleanor Rigby Lyrics | 13 years ago |
No offense to the Beatles, but I have a different perspectve of the song. Father Mckenzie, as his title states, is most likely a priest, and if no one was saved, there is no reason for a preist to be at a funeral. So I have concluded that Father Mckenzie killed Eleonor Rigby and buried her. I think that her putting on a face when she looks out the window supports this. |
